FITNESS LEADERBOARD | UX/UI/VD

Visually designed a thorough application experience to include onboarding and a wireframe capitalizing on a personal familiarity with the Equinox brand. Their brand displays a niche market very complimentary to the New York lifestyle trying to regularly enchant an audience looking to maintain an overall wellness paired to a cool, sleek demeanor. I set out to extend their brand in their field of fitness, while balancing creativity and critical, technical thought processes.

Process

Step 1 | (Identify) Opportunity

Opportunity:
Design a socially integrated exercise class that monitors progress to target goal set by instructor. All participants can measure their output inside each class that they're enrolled into.

Audience:  
Any and all participants within an exercise class with a gym membership.

Step 2 | Research

nalyze the amount of classes offered and participants willing to sign-up. Evaluate the benefit for users within this program/application. Ideate the interactive component and pair with personal goal achievements (managed by the instructor). 

Step 3 | Process

Wireframe a flow for the user to gather the information that they need without having to "sign-up twice". The user can have their credentials set-up when they enroll and simply/easily check into their classes and sign-up for others with this application. Design the application to be effective and straightforward with minimal distraction to physical activity. Visually, straightforward and vector-shaped to not identifying particular group. Also allow members to build a community and share results. Prototype for tap and swipe gestures native to iOS and Android.

Step 4 | Validate

Test within a small user group, gathering feedback on feature outputs and integration. Validate the epic features that were necessary towards meeting official acceptance criteria. 

Step 5 | Adapt

Evolve and adapt all feedback to better this experience and rollout updates (ongoing).
